Sales Representative – Glazing Industry

Location: 185 Claireport crescent, Etobicoke – Job role requires the person to do 90% travel on roads for most of the day.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

On the service side we repair a full range of commercial doors: Swing, Balanced, Revolving, Sliding and Folding Grill Doors. We also service the full range of automatic door operators, and we are the #1 Dealer of Tormax Automatics in Canada. (Automatic door operators are a rapidly growing segment of our business.)

Job Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing client accounts, and driving sales of glazing products and services. You will work closely with contractors, architects, and property owners to provide tailored glass solutions that meet their needs and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by reaching out to potential clients through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry partners.
  • Provide detailed product knowledge and consultation on glazing options, technical specifications, and project requirements.
  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, and installation) to ensure timely project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and be able to use ERP system to create quotes requests.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in the glazing, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of glazing products, installation processes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency with ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid clean driver’s license and Abstract willingness to travel to client sites.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in construction or building materials.
